My Origin Story?
I was born in Leavenworth, Kansas. A town mostly known for a military fort and an abundance of prisons. I grew up watching a lot of cartoons, movies, television, and playing video games (god bless the NES). It wasn't until my father brought home Superman #75, the death of Superman, as a collector's item for me. Ha. Because I showed an interest in it for Christmas that year he gave me all of the following issues (the funeral for a friend arc) and that was it. I've been immersed in comic books since. |

 DMI Origin:
Well, one day I was flipping through a magazine which offered this contest: Dress up as a villian, take a picture of your goofy self, send it in and if chosen your creation and mug would be thrown into an issue of X-Men (getting beat up no less). As a comic book fan, I thought that was a great idea; literally becoming a part of your hobby! What I wasn't too fond of was the dressing up as an idiot part and competing with other yahoo's to get my precious face time. So I decided to cut out the middle man and went straight to the source. And so in May of 2006 DrawMeIn.com was born, and my begging and pleading to comic book pros also began. |
