Contact! Scott Kowalchuk!

April 27, 2011

I received two surprise e-mails this week. Although I can't go into details on the first one just yet, I have tons to tell about today's from Mr. Scott Kowalchuk! Artist on The Intrepids from Image Comics.

As if having a third appearance from Riley Rossmo (coming up in a week in the form of Green Wake #2) wasn't already awesome enough, apparently he's helping to get the word out on my site. At least that's what Scott says when he decided to include me in issue #4 of The Intrepids.

He also gave me a good plug, I think I'll use in the future. "It's a blast, man, such a good idea!"

Scott also sent an inked copy of the page. So here it is! I believe the issue hits in June! Can't wait!

Contact! Dan Schoening!

April 14, 2011

News came about two, three weeks now (?) about a new Ghostbusters monthly from IDW. I was pretty excited about this, as should any child product of the 1980's should be. IDW has been playing with the license here and there. A few mini-series and one-shots, heck... I even wrote to Josh Howard about possibility appearing in his one-shot... but to no prevail.

So with this news of a monthly, I HAD to get a hold of the series artist, Mr. Dan Schoening! But I didn't know who he was... at first. After looking up his presence on the web, I had in fact seen his artwork before. Furthermore he had pitched the book almost a year or more ago, and done so rather well I think.

Anywho, I like the guys style for the book... and I can't pass up the chance to appear in Ghostbusters! Right?! So I sent him a message... and it looks as though he got it! Saying he'll check the site and see what I have going on here.

Hopefully he'll take notice, just how excited I am about the possibility here.

As always with comics... the waiting game begins. The new book should hit shelves sometime come September.

Appearance #22! Fallen Angel: Return of the Son #3 by J.K. Woodward!

April 6, 2011

That's quite the likeness!

J.K. first got ahold of me earlier this year after my appearance in Sweets #4 by Kody Chamberlain, where Kody tweeted my appearance and a story was picked up by Bleeding Cool News.

I must admit that was a cool e-mail to get! This was the first time the artist had contacted me!

J.K. Woodward, you're awesome to have put me in Fallen Angel!

I'm a fan of Peter David's too, at least the DC stuff to include Aquaman, Supergirl, Young Justice, and his original start on Fallen Angel. So I'm happy to be a part of that as well!

Feel free to follow J.K. on his blog!
