Free State Comic Con!
September 9, 2012
Yesterday was a fun and exciting day. It was my first comic convention where I was a guest at, and my first comic work was published and debuted at the convention!
I was surrounded by a great group of comic folk and couldn't be more encouraged to pursue this sort of thing on a regular basis. In short, while I have made my comic fanboy mark here with Draw Me In, now is the time to make my move to the next level.
Creator.
Now that I've got a taste, I want more. So I'm going to try this little experiment and try to get a few more stories written. And published.

DMI isn't going away though. Look forward to my first radio interview! Plus this week an appearance in The Manhattan Projects #6!
Heck yeah COMICS!

Draw Me In 2011 - Year in Review Pt. 2 (Aug-Dec)
December 21, 2011
Time to wrap up my year in review. Yes there's still a week and a half left of 2011, but a lot of stuff that's been happening lately has been "behind the scenes". But I'll get to that soon enough come early next year.
So hit the jump and find out something I never blogged about this year... and the rest of the stuff that I did. Enjoy!

I'm on a Cover! Kinda...
June 27, 2011

The piece above is a poster drawn by artist Greg Smallwood for the 2011 Free State Comicon in Lawrence, Kansas.
Now I have a cheat in this shameless plug as I have known Greg for a while now. He's had a hand in crafting the comic book blogger who is typing right now. So I'm thrilled that his talents are getting a major outlet, in a soon (maybe?) to be announced project through Oni Press.
So imagine to great joy when I received a message from him last week, popping up in this poster for Free State Comicon.
I just might have to go to this now.
Nicely done sir, thanks Greg!
